Medium or dark roast, which should I buy?

Can't decide which roast to purchase, medium or dark?

The classic medium roast Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee is a full bodied, no acid, with hints of pear, dark chocolate, nutmeg and a smooth whisky oak finish on the palate.  It's bouquet is amazing and a near religious experience.  This is the classic roast that most people equate with Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee.

New to Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee or already your favourite coffee you will not be disappointed with our Ridgelyne medium roast.  We recommend this roast to all of our  customers so that they can use their palate to find the beauty of the product.  It is the quintessential classic. 

Dark Roast is rare and we have it!  It has all of the attributes of the medium roast but with the added depth and beauty of an almost indescribably beautiful cacao layer that doesn't overpower and complements with a slight smokey hint that is reminiscent of a fine dark Jamaican rum.   As with our medium roast our dark roast is hand crafted in small batches, each batch subject to approval by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica, a process that all authentic Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee is subject to.

Just as wine, whiskey, rum and many other fine drinks that can be enjoyed in life are precious and rare so too is our Ridgelyne brand Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee.

We are fortunate to be one of the few providers of dark roast Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee roasted in craft, quality controlled, Board certified and quality assured batches.
